SPi manages a 7x24 global transcription operation across its transcription centers in the United States, India, and the Philippines. Managing such an operation requires a robust and scaleable infrastructure platform. We have made significant investments in ensuring that our infrastructure not only employs geographic redundancy, but internal redundancy as well.

Technical Infrastructure

Our state-of-the-art data centers and telecommunication facilities are designed and configured to ensure fault tolerance and redundancy. All patient demographics and transcribed reports are secured through password protection, firewalls, 128 bit Blowfish encryption and VPN security protection.

Physical Infrastructure

Physical security is monitored on a 7x24 basis with CCTV’s. Access Control Doors are established to protect areas which contain information and information-processing facilities depending on security requirements of the information assets.

Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery

SPi’s foremost concern is the security of our client’s information. Disaster Recovery is accomplished by providing redundant systems, coupled with extensive backup procedures and offsite record storage.  These methods provide minimal downtime for clients in the event of any disaster. To serve our clients well, we conduct periodic risk assessments and maintain up-to-date disaster recovery and business continuity procedures to ensure that production will not suffer due to unforeseen circumstances.
