At SPi, focusing on Quality is the most important thing we do. Our Quality Assurance program has been designed by highly experienced transcription experts in consultation with our key stakeholders – our clients and our transcriptionists. This program is built upon a workflow with multiple levels quality assurance to ensure the delivery of transcribed medical reports with consistently high levels of accuracy.

Level 1:  Medical Transcriptionists
SPi’s highly competent transcriptionists serve as the first line of quality control. Our recruitment practices, training methodologies and continuous education programs are aimed at enabling the transcriptionist to ‘get it right the first time’. SPi follows Association for Healthcare Documentation Integrity (AHDI) specified goals of 100% accuracy with respect to critical errors and at least 98% accuracy with respect to  all errors.

Level 2: Quality Assurance Editors
SPi has Quality Assurance (QA) teams operating 7X24 at all locations (US, Philippines and India). Our QA team is a combination of Certified Medical Transcriptionists and highly competent transcriptionists with over 5 years of experience. A sampling of all transcribed reports is sent to QA, and transcriptionists have the ability to send specific reports to QA as well. Our offshore operations have two distinct layers of QA to ensure the delivery of highly accurate reports irrespective of where they are transcribed.
